We're in double digits now!
And even better than that, is when I went to the "walkwithme" tag today, there were 2 other walkers! I'll leave the links to their walks at the end of this blog. Definitely puts a huge smile on my face to see other Steemians' parts of the Earth. I love this world, it has so much beauty in it. I've always wanted to see the world... :)
For today's walk, we drove to our destination. Is that cheating? I think not. My BFFF is still in town, so D'arcy and I headed up the road to historic Peggy's Cove Lighthouse.

Sure driving to the walk is cool. Them rocks look kind of dangerous. I was thinking of slipping and falling on the rock.
There have been quite a few people who have died at Peggy's Cove over the years, they just want to get so close to the ocean, and end up falling/slipping in. It's the water that is the true hazard there. These signs are everywhere:
I know this is silly, but that flower really struck me... It's like it doesn't even care! Puddle, rocks, whatever, it's just going to sit there and flower out.
Reminds me of the modern proverb, "Bloom where you're planted"
So, is there anything unsightly in NS? Take a picture of a garbage can or something to show me you're not on a perfectly crafted movie set ;)
I love it! AHAHHAAAA Okay, for my next journey I will try and take pics of garbagy things, yet, you have to be warned...there is even beauty in the unsightly...to me.

It's very very windy here from storm effects so I haven't gone on my walk yet. If it calms down, I may go on one right in my condo area. It's so pretty here!

Oh man I haven't crawled on those rocks in a long time, I miss Peggy's cove so much! I didn't get a chance to visit on my last trip. It's nice to be able to live vicariously through your pics though ❤️❤️❤️ how've you been?

I really do love lighthouses. That is really a very scenic place...such beauty.
How was the walking? The rocks seem to be a challenge. It is still wonderful to get out there and breathe the fresh air but was there a lot of walking.
And yes I would say driving to the destination to walk is perfectly acceptable. Hell we drove to the beach which is shown in my post for today.
