You know what. I would have been much better off being a "pot head" as some were called back then.
Alcohol and prescription drugs just about done me in. Amazingly. No arrest records in all that time. None
But today. It would be much different. Individual tracking and many more people would have singled me out for DUI if nothing else. Back in that day. No one cared. They care today for the money.
I would never do anything that would hurt me though. In my day. There wasn't anything around much that I knew of except alcohol. And the truckers drug back in that day. "Amphetamines"
Mostly just alcohol.
No real bad accidents in driving though. I managed somehow.
Where I was. The population was very low compared to today.
Just saying.

They cared in my day....but somehow never got pinched for it.
