Recently Ledger recommended upgrading the firmware in their crypto-currency hardware wallet. I fallowed all their instructions to the letter but it ended up telling me the upgrade failed, that I should uninstall apps and then that it was unable to uninstall them.
Now the manager is unable to recognize when the device is even connected and I've received zero technical support.
Update: Ledger technical support did get back to me and explained that their systems had been extremely busy due to the upgrade. I uninstalled all the apps from Chrome installed the latest versions then went thru the upgrade process again and it worked this time. All my criptocoins are still there 😎
