Everyone had already trusted in the future, so the past was effected by their plunders. You've never asked to settle down in lifetimes before. This was meant to trust your inner peace, refund the past it did not serve you're current growth anymore.
They can't legally harass you, so they come to attack your heart. They just think that you're a Karmic who wished ill on you, and all it was, was dying of a broken heart.

As the Moon reminds you of truths you've not thought on in awhile, the dreams will make sense when you ran from each other. You've been tall, you've been short... You've been great. You've done hard work. You've missed the call a time or two. Though this lifetime you remembered what helped move you.
