In China, there is a famous philosophical anecdote called “Zhuang Zhou Dreams of a Butterfly.”
Roughly speaking, one day Zhuang Zhou dreamed that he had become a butterfly, fluttering freely and joyfully, completely forgetting that he was Zhuang Zhou. When he woke up, he clearly knew that he was Zhuang Zhou again. This led him to wonder:
was it Zhuang Zhou who dreamed he was a butterfly, or was it the butterfly dreaming that it was Zhuang Zhou?
So perhaps what happens in dreams is what is truly real.
And maybe right now, you are the one dreaming 😀
Heh yeah, there's many interpretations of that I suppose, multiverse, other dimensions, coma-state, etc. Or more realistic interpretations of the universe that we're just 3d projections of the real universe.
Oh well, it gave me something to write about at least, and if someone ever writes a similar script they turn into a movie I can be all "hey I have proof I created this first" lol.
