I had a username I used quite a lot in my younger days. Found it by placing my pointer random on a world map and zooming in. Landed on "Niantic".. used it for years (still do sometimes), and then the Pokemon Go team came along and called themselves that too
Originally it was just "Shaido" based on the Wheel Of Time books. But someone had taken it elsewhere, so I added "n" to it.
