Once a Hive Witness node became operational, it will be visible on many Hive frontends in general (such as the #PeakD Witnesses page) even after it gets abandoned (or simply shut down). ðĪð§ââïļ
A Hive Witness node that is (actively) maintained by at least two Hive devs (at any given time) sounds cool !INDEED. ðð

Some of those "dead witnesses" (like you said it) might just get "resurrected" (the owner relaunches it again using a server and its private owner) after months (or even years) of being stale/disabled. ðĪð§ââïļðĪŊðĪŊð
