What most don't know is that Social Security was and is independently financed through the Payroll Tax, the trust have been heavily borrowed from since Reagan's Presidency when a deal was made to lower taxes on the wealthiest and to allow the spending of money collected for the ss trust that was to be paid back when the 'baby boomers' started to deplete funds when they started their retirements, of course this agreement has been reneged on with propaganda pushed about the system broke and in disrepair, when in truth the monies owed are not to be paid back. This of course is theft from all who is and will be affected since the monies paid in were not part of tax monies for the general fund.
