If I was on Bill Gates position, I would have tried, maybe, to make sure I don't lose what I own, the way to keep the wealth long term for self and next generations, and at the same time thinking how to make sure the world is still a safer place for himself and as well as for the next generations where they will live. I doubt that any smart man on the planet with huge sum of wealth and power would totally by trying to do something which will either hurt himself or his next generations in the long term.
And I think even if they try to, while there are evil folks in this category, I don't think it'll be easy or will play that much long term.
People are actually smarter today, despite however the media and negative internet showcase. There is big portion of population who is educated and living good life as compared to older times.
the chances of severe conflicts while still there, I tend to believe will resolve, or to the least, hopefully won't be too much harsh as those been in the history.
The thing is I can't just assume on anyone without knowing what's happening and the intentions.
I do not believe Bill Gates want some way to kill people thinking theres a population bomb 😂 And it needs to be taken care somehow.
It is being taken care by nature already. There must be opposite efforts.
some portion of talk from Hans Rosling also points that if the developed nations help the poor nations, to help elevate their life standard a bit further, it will have positive effect overall on the global scale.
I read/listened to Bill Gates' book on climate recently. It gave a little glimps on how he thinks on things.
Still not a fan of Gates, but not much against his efforts either.
