Enhanced community quarantine was lifted yesterday and some rules has been change here in the province of Cebu, Philippines.
Even though there are still cases of Covid-19, the Governor of Cebu decided to lift the ECQ to GCQ (General Community Quarantine) on May 19, 2020. The city of Cebu is still on ECQ because of the rising numbers of Covid cases.
Since the beach is just a miles walk from the house, and swimming on it was approved to be part of GCQ.
Immediately, the residence on nearby places started to go to beaches and enjoy the few days of summer here in the Philippines.
ECQ was lifted but let us do our jobs to have a social distancing, the frontliners keep reminding us that we must prepare for the 2nd wave of covid cases if we carelessly and irresponsibly travel around just for fun.
We all have this saying, PREVENTION IS BETTER THAN CURE so we must care ourselves on this pandemic
