We are halfway done with 2020, and the promising future we believed to be in the works for the cannabis industry after a challenging 2019 could still come to pass.
With a challenging Senate, a permissive House of Representatives and alot of promise on the solidifying supply chains and business models of cannabis companies that are driving the market we have a dynamic environment for the current cannabis ecosystem.
A huge sea change that could bolster the legal cannabis industry is the 2020 election. This could supercharge the decriminalization and legalization of the cannabis industry. A more liberal Senate could pass more prominent cannabis bills including the MORE and SAFE acts. The essential business designation and loss of life due to opioid abuse in the United States could push the legal cannabis industry forward by leaps and bounds.
