Therefore, there should be some ways to for content creators to get their work promoted and distributed as much as possible. This goal can be achieved by reaching more people to ear the maximum percentage of revenue. To protect content creators and monetize their content, there are copyright laws. The laws let them license the contents legally to the customers.
Nowadays, content creators, particularly photographers, have some options to distribute their work to customers. First, they can license their contents to users directly or use the service of third parties like content marketplaces and agencies. The second option is more preferred by new photographers don’t acquire brand recognition.
Problems on Content Distribution
The ideal way for photographers to directly license their content to customers. The fact is that it’s very difficult for them to attract consumers in this way. Consumers will choose to buy content from larger marketplaces or agencies as the costumes have more choices both for the contents and services. These agencies get contents from many different photographers. That is why they can offer customers with more options. They also have bigger marketing budgets for promoting, attracting much more customers than individual photographers can.
When photographers or other creators distribute their works through these marketplaces, they have to give up parts of the right and sacrifice parts of the revenue. These are indeed the disadvantages for the creators but they have no choices as they also need to reach more audiences to generate more sales, something that they cannot do on their own.

Dealing with the problems as mentioned above, Wemark has some solutions that will help photographers to distribute their contents to users directly in a simple, easy, and beneficial way. In the system, the marketplaces should sign a digital contract that contains immutable distribution fees or royalties.
