I don't think it's called Global Warming anymore, I think the correct title is Climate Change... because as the polar ice caps melt, they'll actually change the way the water flows in the oceans which could potentially send Europe into an ice age.
Basically though, the main effect will be on crops and cities close to the sea. There are already parts of Florida that are trying to pump out the rising sea... which is hardly a long term solution.
