Actually, we are the same 😅. I am not yet taking things seriously, but I have been studying its highs and lows lately, quite interesting, tho'.
I had my share of earnings already actually when it wasn't this dip, I cashed out.
Lately though, I more like into vesting. I want to grow the amount passively.

That’s it! This is a good kind of philosophy for our network! For me, it works as a motivation to write. I created an incredible habit of writing every single day, and all of that thanks to Hive. It’s been almost 5 years and more than 1,500 posts already. I’m sure I developed my creative writing a lot during this period. Stay strong, and one day good things will happen :)

That's so awesome. I just write when I get overwhelmed of my thoughts of plans, past mistakes and if I did better, or worst. It helps me drop the unnecessary burdens in my head to keep it together.
This is the best place to drop my thoughts and read them again after few years.

Keeping the HIVE on you also has a very long-term advantage. But not everyone decides to do it.
For example, I have never withdrawn 1% of what I have, and if I had because I would have thought something else would be more lucrative, I would probably be in the same position as I am now. Simply because these markets go par on par...
In the past, using something to take profits completely moved me away from why I was doing it in the first place.
For example, people play games on their phones to get cents... and sometimes it takes like days to get 1 dollar paid for their PayPal wallet (and yes, I have done it too). But why do they do it? Not for the fun I am sure, but just because of the grind.
And they totally forget! What if instead of playing them, you are "making them"! Or selling them... or marketing them... or explaining how to use something that allows you to make these games?
It looks very "hard"... but currently that is changing (if not already changed). So the excuse is not there anymore.
Anyhow, my point is... earning can't be something everyone does, otherwise, where is the value? it has to be unique... it has to be different...
Even if many don't do it, you can still win more here than on X... (for example).
being social helps get you discovered, the main difference here is that curators are incentivized to spread inflation around with others to grow the network
(except for some greedy ones who just share it with a few/themselves through some schemes)
