Well written Suzie the other main problem is the harassment by CIA and IC against Wikileaks attempting to set up Assange on false rape, and child pornography charges during the election 2016. Oh then there is that peculiar attempted assassination where the guy climbed the balcony of the embassy.

Yeah the Todd and Clare stuff was just straight bizzare. They created a fake dating website to try to make accusations that Assange was courting underage girls. It failed spectacularly but the site is still up with an anti-Assange blog on it.
