I am tempted to go through Pompeo's speech line by line and show how what he says about Assange is merely inflammatory and prejudicial, and that all the claims of harm he lays at the feet of activists are far more appropriately laid at the feet of the CIA.
Since it's inception, the CIA has been the biggest smuggler of illegal drugs in the world. They have tortured and murdered countless children in the MK Ultra and other programs. They have - more than any other organization of which I am aware - supported dictators, taught them how to be more violent and savage, and more oppress their hapless people.
No organization has committed more crimes against the American people, with worse harm and horrible terrorist intent, than the CIA.
Given that the CIA and it's ilk, like Mossad, have myriad personnel in the enemedia the abject lack of trust Americans and people around the world have in those captive outlets, like CNN, Fakebook, Goolag, Twatter, the NY Times, etc., reflects the trust people have in the CIA.
His closing remark, regarding deepening the trust we have for the CIA, is exactly from mirror world. If people knew how the CIA teaches dictators to torture and disappear their people, conducts mind control experiments on Americans, kidnaps, sexually abuses and tortures, and murders Americans - particularly children - and myriad other crimes against humanity and the American people particularly, Pompeo and the entire agency would have their heads on pikes.
