RE: The real heros. Gov. Kate brown abandons the people. Rednecks step up.

In Snohomish County in WA power poles were found to have been cut with chainsaws, and Captain Jeff Smith (IIRC) of Clackamas County Sheriff's Department testified to the Clackamas County Commission during a livestream (on 9/11 IIRC) that folks had reported arsonists looking to drop power poles near Estacada.

Dropped power lines aren't natural causes of fire, and can be arson, not just negligence of the Utility company.

Many of the fires were started with fireworks or Molotovs, exactly as BLM rioters were using immediately prior to the windstorm against police.

Wildfire arson is a crime against humanity.

Thanks for doing your part to keep people safe.

Wow I totally didn't hear about that bit of news if you could hook me up with a link I'd really appreciate it.

And arson is not a weapon that most people would think is deadly however I know better than that.

These fires have caused massive damage not only to life but also to property.

One of these fires that I worked on I drove past a small property and a little old guy standing in the ashes of everything he owned.

The government giving you $30,000 wasn't going to cover what you lost.

@theouterlight posted video of the Clackamas County Commissioner's livestream in which Captain Smith gave testimony to that effect. I note you commented on the post, so thought you'd seen the video.

Anyway, here's a link to the /pol/ thread where the video and some transcripts can be found:

Down further in that thread is a composite pic, in which a power pole cut by a chainsaw in Snohomish County, WA is shown. Also in that pic is a photo of Antifa with a chainsaw they themselves posted on Twatter.

The arson you personally witnessed was exemplary of what was happening across CA, OR, and WA during the windstorm - while the riots in PDX were taking a break. I'm actually surprised that no one was shot in the act of committing arson, at least as far as the media are telling us.

Well it's only because there were fire crew personnel in the line of fire.

Otherwise multiple people would have opened up and ended this attempt at burning us all alive in the middle of a fire zone.

Yes they made the right decision. However had they ended up shooting the arsonist I definitely would have not minded too awful much.

The entire crew was put into danger from the actions of two kids.
