India is one of the few countries in the world to be the home of the big cat TIGER. At the beginning of the 20th century India had a huge population of tigers ( about 40,000) But hunting during the British rule and thereafter hunting and poaching caused a rapid decline in the tiger population beginning it down to only 1800 in 1960.
Government of India launched a program called Project tiger in the 1960's.
As a result of this maybe effort, the tiger population is on the increase.
However there is further need to create awareness especially among the villages who live in villages in and around the national parks and tiger reserves.
Due to these efforts India today is home to the largest tiger population of the world.
Excellent.
All we need to do is to convince / explain to the Chinese / Asian people that tiger parts bring BAD LUCK to their family members. (and personal gains are a fallacy anyhow)
ie stop the market in tiger parts

Thanks for your comment. Yes agree with you. Let's put our best efforts. Thanks for sharing the link
I did some research, my way...... "follow the money" style.....
the problem is the other end of the supply chain ie the "demand" end.
And while Asia is a problem it isn't not the biggest one.....
for the money source of the problem....... look to Saudi Arabia!
