Sunday - Date Day

The best thing about having a child - you don't have to beg or wait for your husband to go out on a date. You can go with your child now!

Obviously, it's not a date-date. But it's an outing that sometimes can be better than a date.

So yesterday, Raag, my househelp and myself went out on a date to Noida-Haat. It's a place in Noida where cultural events are organized and people from different parts of the country come to sell their local stuff.

I went for 2 reasons:

1. It was the Australian open finale and my husband was glued to the television. Not only would he not take me out but also, he would not give me the television remote. And what to do on a Sunday without TV?
2. I wanted to dress and go out. Now that the 3rd Covid wave is subsiding in India and restrictions are upheld, its time we start living and enjoying our lives with all precautions, obviously.

So we were really excited to go to this place and I kept some extra cash in my wallet to shop. When we reached there, it was all closed 😔😔😔😔😔😔 I was so unhappy and disheartened. I went there with such high hopes.

But that's ok. We took some nice pictures, had some snacks from the only eatery that was open, sat in the sun and had some fun!

All in all, it was not a day we expected but a good one. I look forward to such dates with him 😍

Lol, look at those reddish cheeks of cutie Raag, who has been kissing him badly, ha ha 😁😅. Remind me of my little nephew I used to steal a lot of kisses from him and his cheeks got all red so quickly. Enjoy the day 😀 !PIZZA
