When Finnish police raided Privex's server rooms at the end of #HiveFest it took my Hive witness offline at the worst possible time for me.
HiveFest was the beginning of 6 weeks on the road, away from my comfortable computing environment.
With my kids with me on an extended family holiday I had no headspace to deal with the geeky task of restoring my witness server, so I had to disable it for an extended period of time.
I have now returned home and created a new Privex witness and re-activated my witness.

I may have been a bit premature with this post as it is taking a long time for the Privez pre=made Hive node to catch up with the head of the chain. But it should be live in the next day or so.

Wow, did not even know this happened! Any specific reason why? Shows the importance of decentralization!
Privex has been subject to a number of police raids due to non-Hive related servers they were hosting for other customers. Don't know any details but the police come and take the whole physical box which has many VPSs running on it thus affecting many innocent customers.
After having to get a new Privex USA server and 36 hours synching to the head of the chain my witness is FINALLY WORKING!
