Thought about the durability of votes, that it's good for dead /lost accounts which still have HP. Are those votes simply wasted, or do they have any influence for statistic matters? Or do the stale witnesses profit from it?
Yeah your pointing out an important point. Votes of dead or locked account remain untouched. Some of the high ranked witnesses are favored due to some extremely large dead accounts having voted for them. I think votes should have a validity time in order to keep things fair and up to date. As you suggest :)
