Today... is just wow.. For reasons beyond my comprehension. My motherboard in my server will not keep PCIE slots 1 and 3 in 4x4x4x4 mode.. at all. just goes right back to x16 each..
So naturally my NVMEs were not being detected..
BUT SLOT 5 oh now there's a PCIE slot that'll stay in x4x4x4x4.. so now my NMVEs exists again.. only took.. 5 hours of trouble shooting and then completely giving up and moving the hyper m.2 card to 'fix' it.
So.. yay. My storage upgrade is in. now to do the software side of things.
