After a few days offline my Hive witness server is back! This is the longest period that my witness server has been offline since starting witnessing on Steem in 2017. In this case I moved server from my previous provider to Privex, who specialise in supporting Hive - however, unfortunately, their bottom end Hive witness servers are not actually capable of witnessing for Hive! After some troubleshooting we agreed on a deal to upgrade my server to run on faster SSD storage and it is now live again.
The first new block has been served by the system and the pricefeed should update shortly too.
If you have been voting for me as a witness, I appreciate your support and if you have recently unvoted me during this period of inactivity I would definitely appreciate if you reconsidered and revoted.
I will continue to support Hive on into the future and intend to post more regularly here too soon. I have been working hard to build my Digital Marketing Agency business at @crucialweb, so haven't had so much time for blogging - but rest assured I have continued my research and healing work too - so have a lot to say, as usual :)

Without witnesses there is no Hive blockchain or DApps such as peakD and 3Speak... You can really help Hive by making your witness votes count!

Strange that Privex bottom end Hive witness servers aren't sufficient to actually run a witness.

Thankyou! I'm not sure what happened at privex. I had their HDD server working with HIVE, but they said that most users were not able to get their HDD servers working. They then made changes to try to fix the situation for others users and it broke my server in a way they couldn't repair. The new SSD server was also way slower than they said it would be (by a factor of 10). I only have limited time though at the moment, so I've stuck with it for now. Thanks for the vote!
