THE THEME FOR THIS WEEK'S WIWCONTEST (WHITE IS WHITE CONTEST) IS – WHITE TEXTURED BACKGROUNDS.

Your images should be full-frame like my example, and should show a textured surface of some sort. A background image like this will not show any other objects in the photograph – just a close-up of texture of some sort. It could be a painted surface like my example, or a wall, towels, sheets, peeling paint, white fur, feathers, stone etc., as long as it gives a sense of texture! The deadline for entries is SATURDAY 14th April at midnight EST.
Thanks to all who participated in last week's CLOUDSCAPE challenge. There were some great shots that were disqualified because they did not meet the contest requirements. Be sure to read the rules before entering!

- Upvote this post, so that we can spread the word and earn some more SBD for the prize money. ONLY THOSE UPVOTING THIS POST WILL QUALIFY TO WIN. THE MORE THIS POST IS WORTH, THE GREATER THE PRIZE MONEY WILL BE. Resteeming is not required, but would help to raise awareness and hence raise the award money!
The three WINNERS each week will receive an equal share of 100% of SBD from the previous week's winners' announcement post (until further notice) plus any donations that come in for the week - each winner guaranteed 1.0 SBD until further notice.

Hi @sopa-pekar! it's more about an overall texture like my example image - not really about a photograph of an object. In a texture shot, you may not even be able to tell what was photographed to achieve it. The texture should fill the whole frame - and could be used as a background for writing text on or something. Does that help?
