Congratulations to this week's awesome winners! Architecture and flowers were the big winners this week! The SBD generated from Week 10's Winners' Announcement post was 2.383 SBD, so as promised each of the 3 winners will receive 1 SBD, which is the greater amount.

Congratulations also to those winning an Honorable Mention! Those shots are awesome too!

PLEASE READ THE RULES AT THE END OF THIS POST IF YOU ARE SUBMITTING IMAGES FOR WEEK 12'S CONTEST! A few great shots were disqualified this week again because the rules were not followed!

Please be sure to submit your own work. Those submitting images grabbed from the web will be reported to @steemcleaners! Not only is this image plagiarism, but it is also copyright infringement and won't be tolerated in this contest!

Week 12's contest runs from Sunday 28th January till Saturday 4th February.

By entering this contest you are agreeing to your image being posted on the announcement page next week if you are a winner. 100% SBD from each announcement post will go towards the awards for the following week's winners, so to be fair to those who read and follow the rules, ONLY THOSE UPVOTING THIS POST WILL QUALIFY TO WIN. I reserve the right to change the prize money to STEEM at any time.

Enter an image a day if you wish, in the following categories:

Monday: White Photographed Against White
Tuesday: Animals
Wednesday: Flowers
Thursday: Food And Drink
Friday: Architecture
Saturday: Water In Nature
Sunday: Anything Goes

Winners will be chosen from all the entries for the week and will be chosen based on:

  1. Technical merit
  2. A predominance of white in the image
  3. Being pleasing overall to the eye.
  4. Visual IMPACT

The three WINNERS will receive an equal share of 100% of SBD from the previous week's winners' announcement post plus any donations that come in for the week, or 1.0 SBD each, whichever is greater.

Here are the rules:

  1. Photograph an image with a PREDOMINANCE of white (This means YOUR OWN WORK!)
  2. Add the #wiwcontest tag to each entered image
  3. Upvote this post, so that we can spread the word and earn some more SBD for the prize money. ONLY THOSE UPVOTING THIS POST WILL QUALIFY TO WIN. THE MORE THIS POST IS WORTH, THE GREATER THE PRIZE MONEY WILL BE. Resteeming is not required, but would help to raise awareness and hence raise the award money!

Congrats to all the winners and thanks for the honorable mention!! Much love... Stay dry today @dmcamera

You are welcome! Yes, it is kind of dreary today in Florida. No rain so far here, though!

All photos are good but the one from @nelinoeva stands out.

Glad you liked it too. It's an awesome macro shot. Photography is very subjective, so each image stands out in its own way to different people. Thanks for stopping by.

the image from @sardrt was simply amazing. Santorini! Wow.
As well, I love the image from @deadgrlsuppastar

All amazing shots! :-)

Congratulations to the winners... very summery and warm! Thank you @dmcamera!

Congrats to everyone! Such a beautiful selection of photos!

Congratulations to all winners!

Congrats to the winners. Love them all but the one by @sardrt really stands out for me because I have always dreamed of going there.

That’s what’s so cool about photography! It can take us there without our ever having to leave home!

How come I didn't know about this contest? It's seems wonderful @dmcamera! I will definitely participate, at least couple times a week 😊

I hope you will enter, but I know how hard it is to enter everything you want to. I think I'm going to make up some kind of chart so that I can rotate some of the contests!

I will not be able to enter everyday, but couple times of week for sure. ..........or do I have to enter every day? Rotation would be good idea, although for me, flowers are the most appealing since I have lots, besides food, lol.

You can enter just once, or all 7 days, or whatever! We could use more food entries. :-)

You got it my friend 😊

Cool! I will try to do some fruits and veggies too. I need a schedule. LOL!

Sounds like a plan, lol

Congratulations to the #wiwcontest winners!!!👏
Thank you for the honorable mention, Diane! Appreciate the hard work you put into hosting this contest and filtering the plagiarized entries @dmcamera

You are welcome!

Beautiful winners... Congratulations!! :)

I'll join the Challenge! Thank you :)

Congratulations everyone! Brilliant choices and entries all around.

Yes, it’s great seeing all the images with white as a theme. Now that I’m getting more entries, I will be changing things a little to have just one subject matter a week, so keep a look out! This will probably be the last week with a general subject matter for the contest.

That's great! It is nice to change it up every now and then. I look forward to your new ideas.

When there were fewer entries, it was easier to pick winners from them all, but now, with more entries in each daily category , it’s more difficult to compare architecture with flowers, for example!

Yes, I have tried to imagine how I would sort and track all of the entries. I'm sure you will find what works for you. I think Juliank uses tags for each topic, a more granular way of sorting. All the best to you Diane.

Thanks! It's easy enough with the one tag, because I would not open the thumbnail for a building if the theme is animals etc. @jamtaylor who has doing this for a lot longer just uses the one tag, but he does have a bot and requires the heading to be specific. I'm not nearly at that point yet. LOL!
