'Tokhang' is Word of the Year 2018 [Salita ng Taon 2018]! The winning word was submitted by Mark Angeles to the annual Sawikaan conference that was held last October 26 at the University of the Philippines-Diliman. Sawikaan is a project of Filipinas Institute of Translation, Inc. (FIT), together with the Opisina ng Tsanselor ng UP Diliman, UP Diliman Information Office (UPDIO) and the Komisyon sa Wikang Filipino (KWF).
Mark Angeles is a Pinoy Weekly columnist and a literary editor of bulatlat.com.
