Word poetry challenge: Journey to the unknown

The distant lands
Full with travellers
All with their fate
Coming home for rest

No one knows
Where his fate lies
As he embark on a journey
To a land unknown

Rest in peace, as people wave
That's all they could say
As he travel to a land afar
Holding nothing to satisfy his desire

Oh son ,when again shall we meet
As you journey to a country afar
I hope you hold possession
To satisfy you when you thirst

It's hard to say goodbye
When we need you most
To realize we are left alone
And you are home far away

A journey of no return
A journey of forever
The cold breeze blew you to where no one knows
Yet it's a journey everyone will embark someday
