i) Self doubt.

There is no way that you can recruit a person when you personally have some doubts about the business. You can't convince someone that it is working when you yourself you are still in a state of doubt. You need to develop a positive attitude, have faith and belief then you can manage to convince someone to join your team.

ii) Lack of knowledge.

If you lack knowledge about something that you are selling no one will buy. Before you try to recruit someone, make sure you have knowledge about the company and be ready to answer every question that you are asked about the prospect. Money is scarce these days and no one is willing to invest in something that he/she has not been told more detail about. If you know nothing and managing to recruit, then you are lying to people and promising what is not real.

iii) Lack of confidence.

Be confident when you are recruiting, speak with confidence and show the people that you really know what you are saying and you are sure of the benefits that you are telling them about. After talking to people about the business they should have the desire to join. Whenever I recruit someone that person will ask me why I came late with such a good opportunity.

iv) Lack of advertising.

You need to keep posting about the business on your Facebook page, WhatsApp status, Instagram, twitter etc. People should keep seeing these posts daily, they will call you, text you and want to hear about this business. Don't forget to include videos of testimonies of those who are making it. These testimonies will make life easier for you.

v) Lack of patience.

Patience is the state of endurance under difficult circumstances such as persevering in the face of delay. There is no business that blooms just after establishment. It takes time to grow one and you should be prepared to go for months or even years without enjoying the profits. A lot of people are not recruiting because they need instant results and they also do not have the patience to continue talking and convincing people.

vi) Lack of consistency.

It's very rare to find a person who is willing to join just after telling him/her about the business. A lot of people need to be followed up, told about the business every time. Never lose hope, be consistent and you will see the results. You need to do what I call tight marking, every downliner of mine knows I don't joke when it comes to follow up.

vii) Never start with people who are too familiar .
