Words can place value on you and also, devalue you. Its only when you speak that your content can be revealed. You might be spotless on the outside but when your words are revealed, your spotlessness might become worthless or add value to that attribute of yours.
- The first fact is, never speak things that won't bring you honor and virtue. Many are fond of speaking in a manner that people could pity them. you might get the help you need but your definition to other people have been changed which will inevitably affect you in the future.
- The second fact is, learn to be optimistic. Everybody loves hope even when some tries to deny it. Think of yourself rightly that is when you can speak right about yourself. You can't feel bad about yourself and still utter words that are right, it won't work. It's like deceiving oneself. Even when things look rough, speaks words that will give you hope. How do you want people to define you? it can only come from your definition and that definition is how you speak about yourself. Whatever people call you today or describe you as is what you've allowed them to.
- The third fact is, speak to impress yourself. Have you ever uttered words that made you smile? have you ever gone to the mirror and define yourself as "beautiful"? try and impress yourself not all the time but most time. This will define you to people in a valued manner.
Also, read books that build up your courage. Books are very influential because we are reading without the knowledge about the personality of the author. Books are more believing that when someone speak directly to you. why? because when someone is speaking, assessment is made within you whether the person is acting based on what he says. But books give you a message without any distraction. Elevate your life with good books that will encourage your attitude in speaking rightly.
In conclusion, words they say is powerful and needs to be used carefully because it can be used for and against you on a day of trial. Remember, whatever you say shouldn't bring you before someone else's feet. These are words that would define you when you are not around, learn how to use them rightly for yourself and others.
