It was mixed affair in the making, one might say Croatia deserved better, but no doubt France stood firm and played with nerves of steel, this was a good game beautiful spectacle for the lovers of the beautiful game. In the end France stepped up their game. Worthy winners played with attacking intent, Croatia played with their hearts, they will have their day. but today it belongs to France as the winners of the FIFA World Cup 2018
