Hey dear community, at the beginning I would like to welcome you to my contribution and hope you have a day full of interesting experiences! In my new post I would like to share something about an experience I made during my trip to Bucharest and hope you like my post.
Those who follow my contributions will know that I have already shared experiences in the past which I have collected in national art galleries and also in Bucharest, I did not want to miss this experience. It was so far one of the largest galleries that I have visited and the diversity is almost unbeatable and alone the building which is a former royal palace is extremely interesting to visit from the outside and tens of thousands of artworks are exhibited here. It's located in the heart of the city and already the area has a lot to offer and who is there should also use the opportunity to visit the well-known statue of Carol I or the Athenaeum and in general there are many historical highlights to discover in the area. I would recommend to visit the gallery in the morning right after the opening because there is still little going on at this time and visitors can look at everything in peace, but should in any case be taken into account to plan a lot of time and I would say that about four to six hours are needed to get to know the works of art. The advantage is that visitors definitely do not have to rush because the ticket is still valid in the next few days after purchase and also a great two-day trip can be made of it and depending on how much information someone can record, people are very independent when visiting and for what is offered I found the price of the ticket more than fair and the prices vary depending on the selected option. In any case, the visit is worthwhile and must also be regarded as an important landmark of the royal family, which has also gained great popularity through the neoclassicism architecture and it's in any case something unique to visit an art gallery in a royal palace.
Art, culture and history are united here and it must definitely be described as an important heritage of the country which is one of the greatest highlights of the city and with the special charm in any case very inviting. The palace was still relatively long inhabited until the middle of the 20th century by the king and restored more often over the decades until it was decided to open a museum for the arts from about 1950. The unique thing is that there are several exhibitions which are separated from each other and the gallery is particularly known for the large collection of European as well as Romanian art and also influences from the oriental or Asian area can be found here and there should be something for everyone. In one of the exhibition rooms, the interior of the palace can be admired, while the other are focusing more on the presentation of various works of art and, in addition to classical paintings from different eras, religious objects, furniture, ceramics and other works can also be seen here. In conclusion, I would say that the visit is worthwhile for everyone who is interested in the culture of the country and there is so much to visit here that, as already mentioned, a lot of time should be brought along, but it's different here than in other museums and the ticket is still valid several days after purchase.

I have seen influences from the Asian region in more museums in Europe :)
I imagine you visited a lot of art galleries in Europe and to express yourself like that in Bucharest must be super incredible, also with many works to show and thank you for showing them.
