Modi's External Affairs | India's Foreign Policy During Modi Era.

It is almost 4 years that the Modi government has been in power and as promised in Affairs domestic the first time Prime Minister has turned everything on its head. Foreign Policy is one area where the Modi government's actions have not just varied in degree but in direction as well. Firstly Narendra Modi in less than 4 years has become the most travelled Prime Minister of India ever and wherever he goes he sells the idea of India. In the conduct of his affairs external the country has had no bigger salesman than the Prime Minister himself.

With US the hugs have been constant, with BRICS the bricks have been built upon consistently, with China and Pakistan it has been belligerence and gentle understanding in equal measure... looking East there has been significant hand holding and from the land of the rising sun he has extracted promises of entire railway systems as record breaking investment and technology deployment.

And now, the WORLD ECONOMIC FORUM beckons in snow clad Davos and from the land of Jesus and Moses has come good friend Benjamin Netanhayu bearing glad tidings of more business and defence deals. The cementing Indo- Israel ties - has been one of the most significant of PM Modi's breaks with tradition...when it comes to policy on EXTERNAL AFFAIRS.
