Today I'm celebrating my 4th full week of lockdown. Well, in Spain is been 3 weeks but for company reasons, we had to start it a week earlier. So, as the only reason to go out from my room is gone till the end of April, maybe more, what am I doing? Easy... writing!
Yep, my second book is complete, just editing it, to be out (at least in Spanish) in few days or weeks, cover is getting my head blown away! But also working on my blog (the blogger one), reviewing and helping other writers to finish their work, coaching new writers and people who wants to start writing without fear, and trying to survive to my family knocking my door or shouting out (I can't leave my room when the rest is around, just in case, company policy).
All day online, making myself aware that the rest of the world has almost stopped like here, but all fields of arts and sciences are striving and making everybody to catch with them. I'm happy people wants to write, wants to share their ideas, their imagination, their storytelling hearts; neer before the Writing Community has been so united and have found new members on the wonderful work of filling our minds and spirits with old new diverse tales.
Is it that we, at last, stopped the noise and started listening to our own mind? and, because of the sudden marvelous silence, we can hear birds out there and inspiration all around? I do! I never thought I could finish this second book, and a second and third part are brewing in my mind, even a prequel and a spin-off. That's what the music of nothing has brought to the world, being back to those creative neurones to be the leaders, the forgoten time reinvented into words to be shared.
So, if you are reading this... write! And get the mind flow on it, let it work randomly, fractally, move back and forth the story that your spirit is telling, let it be free and then give it to the world, or your friends, or to yourself... and enjoy another wonderful weekend at home!
You can check my first book on Amazon, wherever you are, digital or paper edition, english or spanish language... Laura Melguizo Pérez... a pillow book, if you know what it is!
