Cebu Writers’ Guild is on its way to the TOP! Woah! This is crazy. The hype is on as we are about to lit the torch of success as we conduct our 3rd Session. I'm thrilled to announce the Third Session because those who attended the Second Session were also excited to have another avenue to foster learning, camaraderie, and idea generation.
This post will also serve as an official invitation to all Cebuano steemians who wanted to join the event. The same format and system as the first and second sessions; this is open for all steemians irregardless of passion and talent. Also, newbies are very much welcome.
For those who haven't heard about Cebu Writers' Guild, you can check out the introduction here. Initiatives like this are in accordance with the future plans for the Cebu community and Steem Summit's vision to be Steemit in real life.

This topic was agreed by the members of the guild since we want to expand our knowledge about the platforms present in Steem Blockchain. Fortunately, we have a former moderator of Utopian in our team in the person of @josephace135 who will share his expertise about this topic. This could be another avenue of learning and exploring.
This topic was actually suggested by @indayclara to cater the needs of new steemians. This will be an Open Discussion wherein each members can share their knowledge on how to beautify their blogs. This is something really exciting because we have curied authors from different fields plus a dynamic and intellectual members and mentors. I personally invite you to hear their secrets!
Another hour will be intended for @indayclara’s SMILE Project. This is to help and support her with the strategic planning.
We still need your help to make this project a success. You may check her blog to know the details of the project and to have an idea on how you can help us.
The chosen date of the third session will be on May 27, 2018 (Sunday) from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 n.n. 1 hour will be allocated for Utopian.io discussion, 1 hour for Beautifying Blogs, and another 1 hour for the SMILE Project of @indayclara.
The venue will be at Arden Classic, Inc. which is located in SOONG2, MACTAN, LAPU-LAPU CITY, CEBU. You may just instruct the driver to drop you off in front of PACHA DE MACTAN or at YES MARKET. This is actually a company owned by @indayclara’s uncle, we are very much thankful of his generosity.
Honestly, we always look for venues which does not require us to pay for the accomodation in all of our sessions, this is somehow our struggle every time we plan for the venue of the next meet-ups. However, that thing will not be a hindrance of our success.
Again, let me use the quote of @ybanezkim26 everytime he post this announcement...
Even if no one will come, I will still be there!
Anyways, to Kim, don’t worry, we will be with you all the way!
Here are the following guidelines to abide:
- Respect the one who's talking.
- Respect everyone's opinion.
- Respect the place. Avoid littering. We are just visitors after all. We should prepare for the session ourselves and clean up after. Everyone is also encouraged to bring whatever food they can bring to share.
