It is scary being in an unfamiliar especially when you have no idea of their culture and language. Having family and friends sure makes you feel less alone. Nice write up and I hope for more reads on mom's travel experience.

Yes that part does make it a lot harder. If she could speak the language, it might have been a lot different for her! That's why she was scared to travel in the first place! Having someone, anyone be there with you just makes it all seem less bad in the end though, you are so right! Good thing I had someone to meet her :) I'll let you know when part 3 is ready =D
