Yeah, just a few years ago it got rebuilt with a new larger, titanium pressure sphere (7 feet instead of 6, titanium instead of steel) and it's now "full ocean depth capable" i.e. about 4 miles, making the entirety of the abyssal plains accessible. Basically only trenches are unreachable to it now.
