Wow, dramatic story and a bit scary as well.
I can only imagine how tough that was for your mom, especially for someone who's not used to travel much.

    Oh yes, she was pretty scared the whole way! I felt bad for her too! She loves that we can share this story now and laugh about it, but at the time... it was not funny or fun at all!

    I'll let you know when I am finished with the next part so you can follow along =D
