Got some really great news today in regard to my father!
He told us that he took his first steps yesterday and then after that stood on his feet for 10 minutes!
To put it in more perspective the last time they stood him up he was only able to stand for 30 seconds to a minute.
I am so incredibly relieved to hear that...
To me that was the last major question in regard to his recovery was if he will be able to walk again, and this shows me that if he keeps working at it I do think he will hopefully be able to walk again!
It's been a while since I made an update, but just real quick I'd mention he's also up to eating solid foods again and when he gains two more pounds they are going to start weaning him off of the tube feed.
He still has a lot of hard work and it's going to be a while, but I more than ever believe he might be able to make a 100% full recovery.
