So.. Today I was wondering what I wanted to write about.. And.. What came to me was the "Predators" idea from the Don Juan book.
Before I go off into my own little rant, I want to copy paste the passage in the book I'm referring to.

"Don Juan, the Mexican Yaqui Indian shaman, tells Carlos Castaneda the

"We have a predator that came from the depths of the cosmos and took
over the rule of our lives. Human beings are its prisoners. The Predator is
our lord and master. It has rendered us docile, helpless. If we want to
protest, it suppresses our protest. If we want to act independently, it
demands that we don't do so... I have been beating around the bush all this
time, insinuating to you that something is holding us prisoner. Indeed we
are held prisoner!"
"This was an energetic fact for the sorcerers of ancient Mexico ... They took
us over because we are food for them, and they squeeze us mercilessly
because we are their sustenance. just as we rear chickens in chicken
coops, the predators rear us in human coops, humaneros. Therefore, their
food is always available to them."
"No, no, no, no," [Carlos replies] "This is absurd don Juan. What you're
saying is something monstrous. It simply can't be true, for sorcerers or for
average men, or for anyone."
"Why not?" don Juan asked calmly. "Why not? Because it infuriates you? ...
You haven't heard all the claims yet. I want to appeal to your analytical
mind. Think for a moment, and tell me how you would explain the
contradictions between the intelligence of man the engineer and the
stupidity of his systems of beliefs, or the stupidity of his contradictory
behaviour. Sorcerers believe that the predators have given us our systems
of belief, our ideas of good and evil, our social mores. They are the ones
who set up our hopes and expectations and dreams of success or failure.
They have given us covetousness, greed, and cowardice. It is the
predators who make us complacent, routinary, and egomaniacal."
"'But how can they do this, don Juan? [Carlos] asked, somehow angered
further by what [don Juan] was saying. "'Do they whisper all that in our ears
while we are asleep?"
"'No, they don't do it that way. That's idiotic!" don Juan said, smiling. "They
are infinitely more efficient and organized than that. In order to keep us
obedient and meek and weak, the predators engaged themselves in a
stupendous manoeuvre stupendous, of course, from the point of view of a
fighting strategist. A horrendous manoeuvre from the point of view of those
who suffer it. They gave us their mind! Do you hear me? The predators give
us their mind, which becomes our mind. The predators' mind is baroque,
contradictory, morose, filled with the fear of being discovered any minute
now."
"I know that even though you have never suffered hunger... you have food
anxiety, which is none other than the anxiety of the predator who fears that
any moment now its manoeuvre is going to be uncovered and food is going
to be denied. Through the mind, which, after all, is their mind, the predators
inject into the lives of human beings whatever is convenient for them. And
they ensure, in this manner, a degree of security to act as a buffer against
their fear."
"The sorcerers of ancient Mexico were quite ill at ease with the idea of
when [the predator] made its appearance on Earth. They reasoned that
man must have been a complete being at one point, with stupendous
insights, feats of awareness that are mythological legends nowadays. And
then, everything seems to disappear, and we have now a sedated man.
What I'm saying is that what we have against us is not a simple predator. It
is very smart, and organized. It follows a methodical system to render us
useless. Man, the magical being that he is destined to be, is no longer
magical. He's an average piece of meat."

So for some reason today I was thinking of this, and then I connected it with the "Predator" movie series which.. I mean.. They seem very similar.
The book came out in 1998 and the movie was 1987... So.. The movie was over 10 years before the book. I wonder if there's a connection there somewhere..?
I got curious and did a quick YouTube and google search for "Occult symbolism in Predator movie"...
And I did find a few things in some of the movies, though the quality of the YouTube vids isn't great so I'm not going to link them here.
But.. It does indeed look like there was secret society influence in regards to the Predator movies, which is no surprise to me..
As I said in my post the other day about secret society stuff, I think almost every major Hollywood movie has hidden symbolism in it.
Predator is no exception.
I spent a small amount of time trying to figure out where this story originated from, the best I can get is that it was suppose to be sort of like.. "Rocky meets aliens".
Yet.. I just can't help but feel there's a deeper story here that both the movie and the Don Juan book are pulling this info from.
I've personally seen so many UFO's in my life I've lost count, I'm not convinced they are alien, but.. I'm totally open minded to it! And sometimes when I walk alone out in nature at night.. I get a really weird feeling.
Anyone aware of the "Missing 311" stuff? I wouldn't be surprised if there was some kind of.. Alien explanation for some of those disappearances..
So.. What do you think? Do you think it's possible there are beings out there feeding off of us like we feed off of the animals?
I've often hoped to have an encounter where I meet one of these beings from the UFO's I see so often, though.. When I think that they might not be nice friendly aliens and that they might wanna hunt and murder and eat me.. It makes me a lot more nervous and hesitant in regards to wanting to meet them! Lol..

PSPS.. I think there's a neat umm.. Association between the words PRAY and PREY. Who knows if that is totally coincidence or if there is some kind of deeper meaning there as well?
There is a piece of truth in every Legend, every piece of lore, every myth, every story ever told and remembered. If there was no piece of truth the story would not be retold, the legend would have died, and the myth and lore would not have been born.
I don't know if you have ever seen the Prophecy movies with Christopher Walken, very good movies IMHO, but there is a line in it somewhat like - - - "would you really like to meet an Angel one wing dipped in blood, the other holding a sword, would you really want to meet an Angel?"- - - Not the exact quote but pretty close.

I'm not sure if I totally agree in regards to every legend etc having a piece of truth, I think some may be entirely fictional, but I mean even in fiction you find truth.. So maybe that's what you meant? I'm not sure.. Or perhaps you could be hinting at archetypes? Anyways.. That quote you provided is awesome in a sort of spooky way, heh.
In regards to Alien Angel.. That's a good one too, i'm also open minded to the Aline and Angle ones.
Angel means messenger in latin and I recently looked up the definition of "apostle" and it's also "messenger".. Perhaps the dudes following Jesus were aliens? And he was as well? Heh. Who knows! I love philosophizing about the possibilities though.
I think perhaps you could also call that god Saturn.. The god of time. Also known as Satan and one in which some of these occult groups seem to worship. So.. How much you were joking I'm not sure, but it actually does sort of "aline" up. ._.
God, Geometry Of Death. Just kidding. That was a joke, Religious people have all their answers in God, Mathematical people have all their answers in Geometry. The old Science/Religion who is right, neither of them in my opinion.

And remember the story of Troy was just a myth, a story, a legend. If it is something from the long past, and we remember then it was based on a truth, or had some truth. Look at all the old wives tells of how to treat this or treat that, how much of our modern medicine is based on "Old wives tales"? How much of our true history is buried in Stories, "Troy"? Truth is a slippery slope, it is hidden as they say in plain sight. Me I am still trying to figure out what the original story of the 7 Samurai is supposed to mean. Why keep retelling it over and over in different methods and stories. Always 7 people to make a change. What piece of mathematics did we lose? What is the significance of 7. 6 people to the right of Jesus, 6 people to the left of Jesus, we can not say he was the 13th wheel, because 13 is an unlucky number even though it holds 12 together, so do we view jesus as the 7th man? Is 7 the center? who knows, it is just fun to think about sometimes. Besides it reminded me of the Magnificent 7, Star Wars, and of course the original the 7 Samurai. So it was a good thought process.
Thanks for the post Apply can't say I've been reading much on this subject but I do wonder how one alien would behave if it did find us I think it would make it self noticed, I'm sure it would be a good thing : ) but I don't think we have been visited. What you think Apoly how is that competition going?
Yup. Sure thing. And.. I guess it depends on the type of alien and their level of technology. Strictly in terms of hunting, you generally don't want to be seen. So if they are hunting us, they probably wouldn't want us to know.
I do think we have been visited, I just don't know if they are humanoids or some other kind of beings. Though there's a lot of information out there about stories of beings from other places going all the way back into ancient history.. I think something weird is going on up there for sure.
I haven't done much on the competition, I'm mostly waiting for the artwork to be finished and then I'll start. My friend said it would probably be Monday I think.. So maybe Tuesday or Wednesday if he gets it done by then is when we will probably start. Did you decide if you wanna be a judge or a participant yet?

Why do you think our government and other governments around the world are investing countless funds into stealth technology? If you are preying on something, and you're not toying with it or having fun with it, you usually prefer not to be seen at all.

Hmm makes me think of the big monster from the show Stranger Things if you've ever seen. Hmm not sure on if there are predators like that, but if I had to guess it would something that lurks in the ocean...we basically know nothing about what is down there!
I haven't seen Stranger Things, but I agree with you in regards to the ocean! I think we've only explored like a couple percentage points of it or less.. Who knows what's down there! Plus there's lots of reports of people observing UFO's coming out of the ocean, they are called.. USO's I think.. Unidentified Submerged Objects.. Could be wrong, but that's what I remember anyways..
I think I have heard of USOs too. I can't get enough of the deep ocean documentaries and stuff out there, its so mysterious.

I don't think alien beings are feeding off us though. The elites (rulers, big money people) are the predators; they've conditioned the herd (us) to uphold their manmade
moralities, religions, values, beliefs, ideals. They turned us into slaves to feed off our hard work. We are compact batteries with limited shelf-life, replaced by our progeny to serve theirs. Hmm, let us pray/prey. Interesting. Someone with good word etymology skills could know this (I don't).
PS I wouldn't wanna meet that type of alien either.
Thanks for appreciating. I'm open minded to it being humans as well and that's more likely, but it could be aliens for all I know. I admit I don't know much.
However in the end, whether it be.. Humans, aliens, AI or something else.. The end result is sort of the same if it is happening or ever does happen in the future.. But hey.. Not sure we could really say we didn't deserve it.. Humans are pretty gnarly creatures. Some of us didn't deserve it.. Others earned it in my opinion.
Yeah, it's good to stay open minded about this (and everything else). But not too open. Gotta be careful what contamination leaks in with the good facts.

I agree in a philosophical sense, but I also do think there might be other real predator type beings out there in the physical universe, perhaps even on and around earth.

I am as well. They could all just be humanoids or classified technology or something like that, I admit I don't know.. But I lean in the direction that there are other beings out there somewhere.
