I felt like I’ve been living under a rock, but I’ll never be back on that spot again,

I hope the week ahead of you is gonna be productive and amazing – not just on your work but on your life as a whole – that’s the most important thing.

Speaking of life… here are some words that speak life for you guys! This is a part of my Steemit campaign called #WeekStarter where I share with you words of wisdom and motivation every Monday – simple reminders to chase after your goals and dreams every day, no matter what they are. And of course, to remind you to go after a life well lived. A life well lived is one that’s shared, that’s more of others than self, and that doesn’t stop growing and improving and unleashing your best self.

“Until you step into the unknown, you don’t know what you’re made of.”

Familiarity is where comfort lies. You can tread even with eyes closed in the familiar, feel safe in the familiar, worry not in the familiar. But with the comfort that lies in the familiar also lies the treacherous clasp of laziness and complacency. And buddy, if you want to reach goals and make dreams become reality, familiarity is no place to be.

Yes – the unknown is a dangerous place. It compels you to begin blind and clueless and start from scratch; if you have to roll through the mud and get pierced by thorny bushes on the roadside to learn things, then you must.

What a wretched, miserable, sh*t life, others must say – something they feel sorry and secretly rejoice about their better lives for – but if that’s what it takes to reach success and savor its true value – if stepping into the unknown is what it takes to discover you’re made of titanium and nothing can dent you – then it’s a sh*tty life worth going through to see the oasis that’s waiting for you.
