While I agree that everyone has a story to tell, and we shouldn't let our writing skills stop us, NO ONE can have the same story as you brings to mind that Willa Cather quote, "There are only two or three human stories, and they go on repeating themselves as fiercely as if they had never happened before."

Ahhh yes a very ambiguous quote. No story is in the same time, place, emotion or can be as relative as it was to the first person. But I get the generalisation of it :-)
