Good Morning my lovely steemians. Thank God it's Friday!! It's a brand new day and it's my prayer you make the most out of today. Our subject fro today is EGO. You can't start your day with a puffed up ego, no!
An Ego is a canker, a disease, a parasite which feeds on negative emotions. Allowing your ego to control you is the worst thing you can d to yourself. You must learn to be emotionally intelligent to curb it. An ego can tear the very fabric of your life. You can lose a job because of your ego. You can lose your relationship because of your ego. You can even lose your life to your ego.
The best way to keep your ego in check is to learn to respect the opinions of others, be humble, you must be willing to accept your faults and be willing to forgive.
The opening rhyme sums up everything about an ego. When you deflate your ego, life becomes lighter.

Like you said in the opening rhyme @derletwins. Deflated ego leaves you with a lighter life. Itz either you do the deflation or someone else does it. You have the chance to make the choice.
