Lessons from X-Men character

Movies are one of the nicest ways to relax and have fun. Either by going to the cinemas or sitting in a corner of your room, many of us just love watching movies. Thrillers such as X-men as always left us wanting more wishing it never left us. Here are personal lessons have learned from X-men characters;

Professor Charles

There is something about loving and its unconditional nature that makes Professor Charles such a likable character. His cool demeanor in the face of increased hatred from humans makes me wonder if such human traits exist beyond the scope of a movie. What do you do when your perceived enemy is planning to kill you financially, emotionally or physically? Especially when you have the power to just extinguish the flames of their hatred. Yet this character believed that there is so much good that can outweigh the bad. What do you choose to believe in?

Eric ‘Magneto’
Sincerely this character made me aware that attracting metals is such a powerful tool, almost everything is metallic. That’s by the way. I learnt something interesting from this character; whatever you believe in, stand by it! He stood by his principles, yes he was not a lovable person but his tendency to stand by his beliefs should make you have a rethink. What are you willing to sacrifice for what you believe in? Greatness at times is embedded in very minute details. Would you go all the way risking your life for what you believe in?
Remember Churchill’s words;

“A man that would not stand for something would fall for anything.”

Jean and Scott
It seemed so obvious that Jean liked Wolverine, the way her hands travelled the length of his well toned body whilst he recovered from his first accident spoke a lot about her likeness for him. But subsequently was she ready to act upon her feelings? No. A part of her knew that true love is not in the passion in your loins but also the loyalty that surrounds it and she was not ready to give up on that. Do you give up easily on love? Are you ready to leave your present heartthrob once you see another hot dude or babe? We could learn loyalty from Jean’s character.

Logan (Wolverine)

Loyalty is a human virtue, a treasure to possess. Not every one of us is loyal to a fault. This character was a loyal friend to his loved ones even ready to sacrifice going through pains to give comfort to others. What exactly can you sacrifice for your friends?
One of my favorite quotes of the movie is, humanity as always feared that which it does not understand.
