Chapter 1
Chapter 2
Graxoth
Today is the day. I arrived on Terrasia 30 years ago with a single aim. To conquer. I had no army, no weapons, nothing to help me in my quest but the brain in my head and the vengeance in my heart. You see, I was the first born son of the emperor of my planet, Morgathil, and obvious successor to my father. Yet on the day that I should have been officially handed my first titles as heir, my father handed them to my sixteenth brother instead. No explanations, not even an acknowledgement that a break in tradition had occurred.
And of course, not a single member of the court cared to inquire on my behalf. Jealosy had long poisoned them against me. I have never been well liked. BUT I have no patience for stupidity and do not abide by blatant disrespect. So that very night, I stole a ship and headed for a new world where a man of my astounding craftiness might make himself emperor. Once ready, I would head back to the planet of my birth to take what was mine and make everyone who ever crossed me beg futilely for mercy.
We Morgathilin are somewhat petty considering how long lived we are. We do not outgrow our pettiness. We hone it to a fine tip that cuts deeply with precision. And I have every intention of making my strike. But there have been…complications.
You see, I have fallen in love with the one creature on this pathetic rock worthy of my affections: the Princess. I can not say that it happened immediately. She was but an infant when I first saw her face. A horrible grubby little thing, better left ignored lest the urge to step on her grow too much to bear. But one day, out of the blue, I looked up and saw a breathtaking woman instead. You must understand how shocking this was to me, a man three hundred years of age, to witness that change in the relative blink of an eye. I had to have her.
But my lady was raised Terrasian, so in deference to the inferior and highly sentimental culture that she belongs to, I made a point to woo her gently from that day forth. To ensure she knows that I see her and that I am the man to whom she shall belong.
But, back to today. Today is the day foretold when a ‘falling star' (which I have confirmed is some other traveler) will land just a few miles east of the castle. And I, Graxoth, will slay the ‘beast’ within it, thus earning the right to petition the king for his daughter's hand. No questions asked.

Look, it's the bad guy 😮⬆️⬆️! If you've finished the first two chapters, you might notice this story has more of a fantasy feel so far, even if it is in space, but I'm writing it the way it comes to me 🙃.
More chapters will definitely arrive eventually (I dare not say 'soon' 😅) and if I end up too busy to post again before Christmas, Merry Christmas 🎅!
