Your family is part of a group of people who will be sent to create a colony on the moon. You and your relatives are excited to go to a new place and experience such an amazing opportunity, but you're also nervous about of all of the changes.
Then , a time comes when you pass through a restricted area. The area is to monitor and maintain a certain robot. This robot is yours . You are excited to know that your mission will be essential in the future of your planet. On the other side of this pass, you see a cave. The sunlight streams through and bathes the area with a deep blue color.
You are excited! You imagine that it is something deep in the ground and that you will spend a lot of time exploring it one day.
In the distance , you see a bright, beautiful cloud. You are asked to go to a higher place. The wall behind you and beside you turns into huge screens. The center of the screen is with a picture of a starry sky. It is showing the direction of the moon.
The screen stops showing the starry sky and changes to a picture of a snowy landscape. Then, from the right side of the screen, the direction changes to a blue image. It appears to be that the screen is displaying an image of the moon.
The landscape on the screen changes again. The background is now the image of a starry sky. Then, the starry sky changes and a mountain appears. The mountain goes on and on, and as you walk along the beams of light, you can see the landscape change.
When you get to the top of the mountain, it turns into the white full disk of the moon. You are excited! If it were night, you would be able to see it from up here!
"This is it," you think to yourself. "I will be able to go there someday." You are happy, but then you see that there is nothing on the other side of the moon.
The next thing you see is that you are no longer in a cave. The wind whistles and the ground gives a soft noise. You are at your destination. Your mission is now starting.
The first thing you do is find a wall and hide behind it. You look around and see that there is no one else here. When you finally find a wall to place your back on, you look around some more. You are going to be here for a long time. You are tired. You see a place with a big, wooden door in the middle. You decide to go up to the door and see if you can find anything on the other side.
You walk up to the door but can not figure out how to get inside. You look back and see another set of stairs. You decide to go and get a better look at the place. You look down the stairs and see a beautiful tunnel. You decide to go down there.
The tunnel goes on and on and looks exactly like the tunnel that you take to get to your house.
You are still tired, so you decide to go back the way that you came. The area reminds you of the mountain you saw from the main entrance.
You begin to walk back and see more people. They appear to be a guard and they have a cap and a rifle . How strange. The level that they are in makes you think of the surface of the planet.
You keep on going back. You keep thinking that you are going back to where you started the level at, but then you see a change in the landscape. It appears to be part of another planet. You are now on the opposite side of the planet.
The landscape changes again. You now appear to be on a different planet. The atmosphere change makes you think that you are on a different planet, but you also remember that you did not pass any planets or stars to get there. The strange part is that you do not know where you are on a map. You are not on any continent that is part of your planet.
You keep going back.
The scenery around you changes. You are now on the surface of your planet. The moon is exactly where it has always been. When you go back, it is exactly how it has always been. You wonder if you are ever going to get away from where you started.
It appears that your planet is surrounded by a giant screen. You do not understand the phenomenon. You think back to when you were looking at the starry sky. You realize that you are part of a story told by the audience. The audience is where you "exited" from. The audience is looking at you while you are exploring. On the other side, you would look like a pixelated image on the screen. Behind the screen, there is a group of people that come up with an idea about you. They tell their creation, which turns into a story about you. They communicate with you, and you can communicate back with them. You do not think that this applies to the guard robot. Of course, this is impossible when you think about it because they are everywhere, and go everywhere, in our solar system.
You are shocked. You are now back at where you started. Nothing has changed.
You decide to go back to the wall that you were hiding behind. You get back there and go back to the screen. You wait patiently.
The screen shows various images of you. When it shows you, you are unrecognizable. You no longer have a life-like appearance when it shows you. You are completely changed by how the landscape appears.
So, this is how life works, you think. This is how we get sent to a new place.
As you walk along the landscape, you see another screen. When you look at it, you do not see you at all. You are completely unrecognizable. Everything you ever did on your planet is gone. You are now not the same person. You do not even look like the sky.
