I'm gonna start with a question, do you remember the first conversation you had with your spouse, best friend or colleague?, conversations are links because every time you talk to a stranger a link is formed and every conversation after that day makes the link to get stronger as time goes on. Surprisingly, everyday each one of us meet so many strangers maybe the receptionist in the new office you went to, the back street guy, the cab guy and so on. And with every conversation we build up new links that it, a conversation is a fascinating thing, is an adventure, it gives us a whole new perspective of how we view things, a conversation opens a door to new thoughts, same conversation can make war and it can also make peace because it defines who we are as a human race.

Let's think about this, every single person in our lives was once a stranger to us and we knew nothing about them until we had that first conversation. And am here today to tell you to talk to strangers. Lol

HOW TO START A CONVERSATION

  1. THE FIRST WORD FLOOD GATES, strangers! they are everywhere, the funniest thing is that you are a stranger to someone else, our when we were kids our parents always told us "don't talk to strangers". But I beg to differ because every stranger comes with an opportunity to learn something new about life, an opportunity to have a totally different experience you never had or hear a story you never heard before. When does words hook on your throat when you meet a new person just allow it to flow no matter what. Think about it, what's the worst thing that's going to happen?, They Won't talk to you? Well they are not talking to you before Now. The first word acts as a flood gates which allows every thing else to flow, just keep it simple like a hi, hello or you look good.

  2. SKIP THE SMALL TALK, skip the small talk and asked really personal questions after you have already widen the gates as we explained in the previous point, don't be afraid because you will be surprised of how much people are willing to share their problems with you. For instance, when you go like this "interesting name, how did your parents think of it? Is there a story about it? Or how long have you lived in this city. However, answers to those questions are usually something unique which you can strike a long lasting impression. Remember what starts with a HELLO can end with a marriage proposal and that is a warning. Lol

  3. FIND THE ME-TOOS, have you ever met someone that starts a conversation like they are starting a debate? Like where do come from? Why do you ask?. Nothing kills conversation like a negative just make sure you find one thing that you and the person have in common like I LIKE MOVIES, ME TOO.
I LIKE WINTER BREAK, ME TOO. very simple

  1. PAY A UNIQUE COMPLIMENTS, people will forget what you said, what you did but will never forget how you made them feel. So be generous, go out and give someone a nice, full and special compliments. There is What is called COMPLIMENT IMMUNITY METER, don't give a super model compliments like you are beautiful because probably she's probably heard it a million times that day maybe from fans on social media and she's immune to it. Try to construction a compliment that is special

  2. ASK FOR AN OPINION, all of us have opinions and we all want it to be heard and everybody wants validation, so go on and ask for an opinion and that when you open up a real communication that's is when the real conversation begins. Ask some simple, don't listen to reply but listen to listen.

  3. BE PRESENT, just pay attention when having a conversation with someone don't be absent minded, like playing with your phone or game box. Try to make eye contact that is where all the magic happens during conversation.

7)NAME,PLACE,ANIMAL,THING, try and remember the little details about the person because it so important. It awful to meet someone for the 12th time and you be like what's that you name again? Shameful. Remember someone's name and say it back to them, that makes the person feel very important to you, just try to remember all the other details the person gave you. The places they told you about, their pets name, the things they like, their kids name, their wives name or their girlfriends name but don't just mix up the last two because that could be disastrous. Lol.
