My social media acumen is rather poor, so I’m not 100% sure this is where I should be posting my meanderings, but the ‘writing’ tag feels about right.
I’m a copywriter by profession, so artistic writing has eluded me for a long time. This and whatever this turns into – probably nothing – is my attempt to try something new. Let me know what you think... or don't.
Fashion me not out of metal or stone; I do not wish to be a champion of time. I want to be flesh and bone, to slowly decay – fettered by the clammy mud above and the cold earth below.
As recompense for taking away my immortality, I want to be hurt and to be afraid. I want to be swallowed by all of the ills of the world.
Grant me those things, so that I might make the most out of my short time. That I might best appreciate the things I hold most dear.
