Developing innovative magnetic composite carbon product (absorb mercury waste)

Four students of Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) succeeded in developing innovative magnetic composite carbon product which is able to absorb mercury waste. The materials used are also very simple and cheap ie from waste teak. This waste is mostly found in the city of Yogyakarta. The four respectively Charlis Ongkho Physics Engineering student class of 2015, M Rifqi Al-Ghifari (Chemistry 2014), Bagas Ikhsan Pratomo (Chemistry 2014) and M Ilham Romadon (Accounting 2015) is incorporated in a research group named SuperC6.
