A winding tale indeed, Alex - It's a labyrinth. It represents a spiritual quest that Marcus is on to recover his memory and be reunited with his soul mate. I would have called my hero Theo (Theseus) after the Greek myth, but I used that name in another quest story . I know you're probably thinking, does anybody get these allusions? and the answer is probably no but like all myths they serve a deeper purpose and act on our subconscious. Anyway, that's my justification - I please myself :)
