Hi @yahialababidi
As an infant writer, I thank you for sharing your wisdom. When you say "if you have time to breathe and eat, you have time to write." What about the times when you don't feel like writing because nothing comes to mind? Do you force yourself to write mindlessly without purpose to see what comes through during those times?
Or should you wait until you "feel" like writing? I experience this often even when I think I have something to write about. Seems like my fingers are lethargic, and I can't force myself to start. I want to, I just don't feel like it.
Another point you make that I'm going to take into action is to read other genres I may not be familiar with. I have already chosen several books for this purpose.
Finally, as you mention above, and as I've heard repeatedly, one must look to daily life experiences for prompts. All good points made that I intend to adhere to.
First I have to figure out where my writing belong?
Appreciate your honesty and candid advice to all aspiring writers.
Hey, @justclickindiva; glad my words reached you.
No, I don't believe in forcing writing, or straining for feeling. If you have free time and don't feel like writing, don't. Do whatever you are doing, mindfully, and that will fee your writing (eventually).
Writing, afterall, is the sum of who you are and what you've seen, thought, felt, etc... Good luck, figuring things out; that, too, is part of process :)
